Sometimes, you may want to redeem your prize to a payment method, but can't.
Why?
First of all, for a payment method to be considered an option for redemption, it must have been used to make a purchase
To make this a little clearer, here is a guide on what payment method you would need to redeem to, depending on the payment method you used to make a purchase.
Payment Method used for a purchase | Payment Method to be used for Redemption |
Debit/Credit Card | Bank Account |
Online Banking | Bank Account |
Paysafe voucher | Bank Account |
E-Wallet | E-Wallet |
No matter which method you used to make a purchase of Gold Coins you can always opt to redeem your prize for a Gift Voucher.
If you would like to redeem your future prizes to a different form of payment from the one you purchased with, have a quick look at the example below:
You’ve been purchasing Gold Coins using your bank card, and you would like to be able to redeem to your e-Wallet.
A few things need to happen...
- You would need to start making purchases with your e-Wallet - (now you will have two options to redeem your prizes to: a bank account and an e-Wallet).
- You would need to redeem the same value of your purchases to each payment method used, after that, you will be given the option to choose which payment method to redeem to.
Keep in mind if you continue making purchases using a particular payment method you would need to continue redeeming via the same payment method
For example:
Mr. Chumba purchases a $20.00 Gold Coins package and receives some free Sweeps Coins as a bonus. Being a lucky man, he wins a prize of 1000 Sweeps Coins.
In the past, he used his credit card to purchase the $300 Gold Coins package, he also used his e-Wallet to purchase a $100 Gold Coins Package. He has not redeemed before.
This means Mr. Chumba would need to redeem 100 Sweeps Coins using his E-Wallet and 300 Sweeps Coins using a bank account - then would he be free to choose how he would like to redeem the remaining prize.
